Clear Browser Cache
This document will show you how to reset your browser in Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer.
Google Chrome
- 1. Go to the top right hand of the browser window and hit the 3 row button just below the red X and go to the settings option.
- 2. Scroll down in the settings menu and select “More Tools”.
- 3. When the options expand, look for “Clear browsing data”. Select “Clear browsing data”
- 4. Select "All Time" in Time Range drop down, then click the “Clear browsing data” button.
Mozilla FireFox
- 1. From the History menu, select Clear Recent History.
- 2. If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible.
- 3. From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.
- 4. Next to "Details", click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear; to clear your entire cache, select all items.
- 5. Click Clear Now.
- 6. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Internet Explorer
- 1. Click the gear symbol in the top right hand of the browser window.
- 2. Select internet options
- 3. In the window that pops up, check the box next to each option EXCEPT “Preserve Favorite website data”. Make sure that is not checked.
- 4. Hit delete.
- 5. Wait for the notification that the deletion has been completed.
