Scanner Configuration for eClinicalWorks(eCW)

Purpose: This walkthrough will guide you on how to change your scanner settings and save them to your eCW profile.

To begin, go to where you would scan a document into eCW. (Use the picture above as a reference.)

Once there look at the left-side panel for your scanner settings:

Under “Scanner Settings -> Scanner*” click the dropdown arrow and select your scanner from the list.

Once you have your scanner selected perform the below configurations in the “Scanner Settings” area:

•          Color Mode: Set its color type to suit your default color mode should be.
•          Paper Size: US LETTER (unless you have a different type you are supposed to use.)

Once you finished your configurations you will now go to the top to “Scanner Profiles”:

You will click the “Save As” button and give your profile a name, and your settings will now be saved for future usage of the scanner.
